The W. E. Skelton 4-H Educational Conference Center at Smith Mountain Lake may just be the ideal location you’ve been looking for! The Center is situated on a beautiful 120-acre lakefront property. Amenities include modern and spacious meeting facilities, on-site catering, hotel-style and dormitory lodging options, and a comprehensive selection of recreational opportunities including facilitated team building programs.
An experienced on-site Conferencing Department is available to work with you to customize your group’s experience. You’ll have access to a portfolio of proven planning options designed to insure that your event is enjoyable, memorable and… above all, effective.
Over 23,000 square feet of meeting space gives you the option to choose from fifteen well-appointed indoor conference rooms. Meeting spaces located in Taubman Conference Center, the Hahn Welcome Center, the large Auditorium, the Reid Jones Jr. Lodge, and the computer-equipped JOCO Learning Center have kitchens or kitchenettes with adjacent restroom accommodations.
Outdoor shelters include the Open Air Pavilion, Willard Pavilion, and the Willard Amphitheatre. These outdoor meeting spaces have restroom access and ample seating.
