A variety of on-site lodging styles
The Skelton Conference Center at Smith Mountain Lake has two hotel style, and three dormitory style lodges. Hepler-Jamison and Reid Jones, Jr. are designed as hotel style, and they accommodate four people per room. Each room has a private bathroom and individual heating/air-conditioning units. The rooms in these lodges also come with the option of conference style preparation which offers additional hotel style amenities and pre-made beds.
Flora, Svoboda and Skelton/Hancock lodges are set up dormitory style. They can sleep up to 220 people with separate bathroom facilities for men and women. The dorms are set up as camp-style, with visitors providing their own sheets and towels. If preferred, guests may rent a linen pack that includes sheets, towels and a bar of soap.
